Update 2 / Splinter Cell: Conviction getting split screen
Update 2: Ubisoft sent over bigger versions of both split screen shots.

Original story: The good news: Splinter Cell: Conviction‘s 6-hour cooperative mode can be traversed locally as the prologue story can be played through split-screen. The mode was first revealed last month though the above image, which Ubisoft linked to from their Twitter account this morning, is the first actual shot from it, showing the Russian/US spy duo doing their thing.
The bad news: The split screen is available on the Xbox 360 version of Conviction only.
