Splinter Cell: Conviction sneaks to the top of the UK charts

Splinter Cell: Conviction‘s debut has secured the No. 1 spot in the UK charts, displacing previous chart topper Just Dance; pretty terrific news if you happen to be affiliated with Ubisoft. Rockstar’s tangible release of Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes from Liberty City has managed to nab third place, demoting the perpetually entertaining, Gustav popping Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to fourth.

Pokémon SoulSilver slips one place to eighth, while Pokémon HeartGold drops two places to eleventh – I’ve always wondered what exactly makes one version of Pokémon sell more than its counterpart, is it because having the version with ‘heart’ in the title makes you a wuss or something?
