Can you game with only one monitor? I can’t. I need at least a dual monitor computer desk.
Ideally, I like to see my extended desktop in an expansive setup featuring the best gaming monitors money can buy. But that also poses a huge problem, since I also need a gaming computer desk for multiple monitors.
My problem has always been that desks with small surface areas are inadequate. I need to spread out, get comfortable, and commit to my games for the long haul. That means a large, sturdy desk that can hold two, or even three monitors at a time, in a configuration that is easy to see.
It’s not always about the surface area, though. Elevated shelves, tilted platforms, and other convenient storage spaces provide more room to play with and a dynamic playing area.
I’ve used a lot of desks in my time. For a long time, I used an antique library table as my gaming desk. It only had two drawers, but it had a massive tabletop—imagine ornately carved legs, dark mahogany, and solid oak that put Ron Burgundy’s bookshelves to shame.
Sometimes you find things that work for you in the strangest places. It’s not always what you expect, but when it works, it’s like Christmas in July.

Thought Process Behind the Dual Monitor Desk Selections
I picked one gaming desk, one L-shaped desk, and two other generic desks as the best place to start. Honestly, I thought the desk explicitly built for gaming would be my favorite, but I got sucked into the idyllic charm and size of the “Plain Jane” L-shaped choice.
At any rate, all of them are amazing choices, so you only need to decide between a few important aspects: the size you need, if you want the extra touches that come with the gaming desk, and whether you’d love a fun color to make your desktop pop.
The Best Dual Monitor Gaming Desk
If you have dual or even multiple monitors, here are some of the desks worth more than a quick glance. They’ll accommodate both monitors with plenty of room for your other components.
Overall Best Desk for Dual Monitors: Arozzi Arena Gaming Desk
- The 160cm/5' 3 Inches width allows for three large monitors to envelop you in the game environment
- The 80 cm/2' 7 ½ Inches depth gives you a huge field of play for your mouse, keyboard or other devices
- Design of the custom mouse pad which has a microfiber cloth surface which is water-resistant. 3 Cut outs for cable management and monitor attachment
The Arozzi Arena gaming desk boasts some of the best quality when it comes to gaming desks. There’s plenty of surface area to work with here, too. You could even get a third monitor if you want.
The water-resistant surface makes it easy to clean, and your mouse practically floats over it.
If a massive gaming desk isn’t on the cards for you, move along. There’s nothing to see here. Except, there’s a ton to see here, so clear out space in your office for this big kahuna.
Two key points for the Arozzi is that it’s easy to assemble, and insanely sturdy, making it an ideal computer desk for a dual monitor setup.
Getting down to brass tacks, here’s what you need to know.
A large surface with a curved front gives you the freedom to immerse yourself in a gaming experience. Go ahead. Let it hug you.
It curves around you nicely, too, giving you space to stretch out and place your elbows comfortably.
The two legs each have a large base on casters, so you can move this desk around without lifting it. These supports are adjustable for height, and you’re no longer forced to use risers.
If you are expanding your workspace with a second desk, you can adjust this one to the right height, lock the casters in place, and move back and forth seamlessly between the two for a better experience.
A 63-inch-wide workspace ensures ample room. You could have three monitors, a tower, speakers, a keyboard, a mouse, a drink, a snack, your cat, and your phone, and have room to spare.
It’s 32.3 inches deep—deeper than either of the Need desks we highlighted. If you hadn’t already noticed, this thing is huge.
Its height is adjustable from 27.9 inches to 31.9 inches. That should cover most people’s preferences, and it’s the standard range for most desks.
The microfiber cloth surface provides comfort, and your mouse will glide across like it’s floating on clouds. This custom mousepad maximizes comfort and playtime. You’ve been liberated from the confines of traditional mousepads and elevated to style and stability.
The entire desk is coated in your choice of color, including white, green, blue, black, and red.
This desk is a hefty 85.5 pounds. You’ll want to set it up exactly where you want it and never move it again. The good news is it can hold up to 176 pounds on its sturdy metal frame.
The huge surface can hold anything you throw at it, plus absorb all your excitement when you find yourself yelling at your allies while pounding your fists.
The Arozzi warranty covers defective materials and workmanship for two years after your original purchase. As with most items, you do void your warranty if you modify or alter the desk.
But, we’re gamers. We add mods. So, if that’s the case for you, you may be out of luck. It’s sturdy and well-built, however, so unless it arrives at your door damaged, you’ll be fine.Check Price

Let’s focus on the beauty that is this desk. It’s simple. It’s modern. It’s huge.
At 63 inches wide, it can fit two giant monitors on it with room to spare. The downside here is that there’s no storage space, but you now have the freedom to configure your own gaming space with the storage solution of your choice.
You’re no longer limited to the shelves, drawers, and cable management systems. Use a bookshelf or something.
You’re also not limited to one color. This desk comes in all color combinations and will fit right in with your Call of Duty and Worms posters.
Admit it. You thought that game was awesome. Ain’t no shame in your game. #90skid
There’s plenty to like about this computer desk, and it is highly functional.
There’s really nothing spectacular about this desk, but that’s what I love about it. It’s beautifully simple. It’s just a basic rectangle, but well-made with great proportions. It can be repurposed as a work desk or a sofa table if you want to upgrade.
At 63 inches wide, it’s spacious enough for multiple monitors side by side, as well as other components like a keyboard, a mouse, or a CPU.
The 29.5-inch height is standard. It’s not adjustable, but 29.5 inches is right in the middle of the sweet spot for most people. If you’re insanely short, or tall, it may not work; but if you’re average height, you’ll be fine.
It’s 23.6 inches deep, so it won’t stick out like a sore thumb. Although, you may have a sore thumb after you drive a few laps in Need for Speed or Mario Kart. If you’re one of the unfortunate souls who has to share a game room with someone else, it’s ideal for tucking back against a wall and having plenty of room for other stuff.
This desk is made from E1 particle wood, and it has a durable steel frame. That means it’s sturdy enough to handle all your gaming adventures. The particle wood top and legs are finished in one of six color matches, including black, white, beige, natural wood, and several unique combinations.
The adjustable feet make the desk even more sturdy, so you can level it on an uneven floor without sending your computer toppling to the ground. It’s also waterproof with an anti-scratch surface, so it’s highly durable and easy to clean.
The desk weighs 50 pounds, which is manageable. Its size can make it cumbersome to move, so you may need help if you ever rearrange your game room.
It can hold up to 330 pounds, so you can, literally, put almost anything on it that you want. You could sit on it, provided you’re light enough. It won’t buckle under the pressure, and you can enjoy its stability.
Need guarantees your item will arrive in perfect condition. If it doesn’t, they offer free replacements or partial refunds. They don’t advertise any additional warranties for the product, however.Check Price

Introducing: the new and improved Need desk, built specifically as a desk for gaming. You thought the first Need desk was awesome, but check this one out. It has all the same fantastic features with a few new ones thrown in for all the avid gamers out there who can’t use a desk unless it’s actually called a ‘gaming’ desk.
For only $10 more, this desk includes some fancy designs like a drop-in cup holder, retractable try, debris cup (read: trash can), headphone hook, controller hanger, and RGB LED lighting display, which is customizable with seven different lighting modes to suit your preferences.
The cup holder and debris cup are interchangeable, so if you prefer to have your Red Bull on the right at the ready, you can just switch them out.
This gaming desk is a bit shorter than the previous one we reviewed, but with dedicated space for all your extras, it doesn’t feel like it. The raised platform in the back holds your primary monitor, giving you plenty of space on each side for your extra monitor and your tower.
It’s lightweight but sturdy, and easy to assemble in minutes, which is part of the appeal. Who wants to wait for shipping and then spend hours putting something together which could be spent gaming on your new desk?
A rear-mounted cable storage rack reduces even more clutter, so you have plenty of space for what matters.
So, what’s unique about this one that you didn’t find in the first Need desk?
Once again, the design is minimalist. It’s sleek and modern, without the fancy stuff.
This simplicity lets your gaming setup shine on its own without anything detracting from your awesome experience. It’s a basic rectangle, and you can get it in plain black, or a light wood finish with black legs.
You don’t have as many color options here, but it’s still well-made and looks great.
At 47.2 inches long, you might think you don’t have enough room but think again. The dedicated platform at the back for your main monitor leaves room on each side for additional monitors, speakers, or your CPU.
The monitor stand is 19.7 inches wide, 9.4 inches deep, and 3.3 inches tall. It’s strong enough to support almost any monitor.
The 23.6-inch depth is the same, so it allows enough room for a keyboard and a mouse in front. The keyboard and mouse pad (you know, the one with the RGB LED lighting) is 34.5 inches by 13.8 inches.
The 29.5-inch height is average and will work for most people, but if you need some extra height, you can always put it on risers.
Exactly like our first review, this is E1 particle wood and a steel frame. It’s sturdy and strong, and it has adjustable feet, so it stands firmly on any surface, even a carpet.
The surface is waterproof and scratch-resistant, so it’s durable and easy to clean.
The table weighs 46.4 pounds and can support up to 300 pounds of equipment. It’s easy to put together without breaking a sweat, and it won’t collapse when you load it up with everything you need.
Do you NEED a guarantee that your desk will arrive in perfect condition? You get a free replacement or a partial refund. For more information on Need’s warranties, give them a call.Check Price
Overall Best Gaming Computer Desk for Multiple Monitors : Tribesigns Modern L-Shaped Desk
- [SIMPLE STYLE L-SHAPED COMPUTER DESK OFFICE DESK] - come with Free CPU Stand - made of E1 class environment protection particial board (desktop) & thicker steel (frame & leg) )
- [L-SHAPED CORNER DESIGN] - wide desktop & space saving, you will have plenty of surface space for writing, computer work and other home office activities
- [SUPER STURDY] - steel frame and rugged and reliable mechanical design to ensure the excellent stablility of the desk
If you have monitors and other components coming out of your ears, then you need something even bigger. That’s when the granddaddy of all gaming desks is the only solution that makes sense.
I’m only skipping over all the highly-rated computer desks with fancy designs and glass tops because they’re not great gaming desks. I’m opting to review this one instead because it has received excellent reviews and is better overall.
I would never game on a glass top because I’d be worried about how that glass would perform over time with all my equipment and passion (read: banging my fists and other items on the desk). I can’t bear the thought of it shattering while holding all that precious cargo.
Instead, this beauty has a solid wood top with a minimalist design. It’s stylish, too, which is perfect for any game room. The L-shaped design means it can be tucked into a corner and give you a larger surface area without cluttering up the room.
There’s so much more room for activities!
The safety corner design keeps you from stabbing sharp corners into your side as you focus intently on plunging your sword into your enemies. The beveled edge angle leaves room for a floor lamp or some other decor in the corner of your room.
The adjustable leg pads have a notched design that makes them easy to grasp as needed. I also like the buckle assembly that makes it easy to put together.
The design is rugged and mechanical, with sturdy construction. It comes with a free host for your tower, so you can keep it off your desktop but still have the airflow it needs on the floor.
The frame of the desk is designed with your comfort in mind, and the support bars across the back are at the perfect height for doubling as a footrest. Recline in your gaming chair and put your feet up while you play.
If you wanted to keep some of that desk space real estate and only use two monitors, this would be an ideal pick for a dual monitor corner desk.
I saved the best for last, and here are the best features:
This desk is L-shaped in design, so it’s the perfect solution for someone who truly does need more room to work and play. An L-shaped desk is attractive (if you care) and functional. I love the space-saving, space-enhancing- and space-expanding ideas all rolled into one logical solution.
This desk has two rectangular surfaces with a triangle connector in between. The larger surface is 66.1 inches by 18.9 inches. The shorter surface is 49.2 inches by 18.9 inches. It is 28.9 inches tall.
The CPU stand is 15.8 inches by 9.5 inches, and the beveled edge in the corner is 16.5 inches.
The desktop is E1 particle board, and the metal frame and legs are steel. It sturdy enough to hold anything.
I know I’ve said that about everything I’ve reviewed so far, but this time I mean it.
This desk isn’t as heavy as you might think—it is 53 pounds. It’s not that easy to move once it is set up, though, thanks to the shape. It does hold a whopping 450 pounds, though, and that’s only the larger surface area.
In total, it can handle more than 600 pounds if you don’t load it all on one side.
Tribesigns offers an 18-month quality assurance warranty for your peace of mind. If anything goes wrong, they’ll help you repair or replace it.Check Price
