Modern Warfare 3 practically confirmed by OPMUK

Looks like the speculation on this year’s Call of Duty title can finally come to an end; Official PlayStation Magazine UK has pretty much confirmed that it’s going to be Modern Warfare 3, for real this time.

The ‘Next Issue’ page of this month’s mag features a big green “3”, similar to past Modern Warfare logos, with the sentence “The biggest game in the world returns”; not exactly hard to figure out what’s going on here.

Subscribers are only just getting their hands on this month’s issue, which hits stands on May 13. That means the reveal will feature in a mid-June issue, though we’d bet our houses on it showing up at E3 before that.
