Mass Effect 2 remains on top of the UK charts, Dante’s Inferno enters at four

Regardless of a 65 percent drop in sales, Mass Effect 2 stood its ground and held onto the number one spot on the UK sales charts for last week. Second and third positions went unchanged as well — Just Dance (-26%) and Modern Warfare 2 (-12%) stayed at their second and third spots, respectively.

“Only a tiny number of sales away,” according to Chart-Track, from the Infinity Ward shooter was EA’s newcomer Dante’s Inferno which, with just two days worth of sales, managed to make its debut at number four.

Atari’s Star Trek Online MMO entered the chart at number eleven. Top 20 follows.
